ok . he lives on a corner , open plan gardens , he has cctv micro cameras pointing out , he has admitted he has filmed the children in the street ( he says top prove the 6 yr olds are playing football and being naughty boys ) he says the police have told him they have made the close ( culdesac) a no playing area for children . and everytime a child plays in the close he will call police . he has sent letter of slander ( no naming put its obvious as those 2 homes never got a letter ) saying parents are poor and throw kids out on street . a road only used by residents consisting of 75% having children , he has no children , when he had one with gf the by ran riot but the mother soon did a runner , what legal rights has the child hater got regarding .

1 . cameras recording kids
2 . setting up wire traps ( neck height )
3 .no games in close
4 swearing at children
5. driving fast when they are in street.

oh yes , he has punched a mother , threw her on floor threatened 13 yr
the mother he hit was on his property as she asked why he swore at her children , he threw her to the floor and hot her , he got to police first , she was charged with assault and warned to stay away from him . he filmed people from his home the children were playing on my property not a road , the road is a close about 20 houses a road about 100 yrds and a culdesac at the end .

i would contact your local police, also write a letter to your local council, keep diary’s and times of everything, you are only allowed to have a CCTV camera on your property if it points in your garden, call the police, they will check the camera, if they think it is wrong then they will ask him to take it down, hope it all works out for you, i have been there, keep fighting you will win in the end i did, all the best

    Is this real?

If he punched a mother then he should be arrested for assault.

He’s not permitted to film anyone without permission.

Playing 6 yr olds are not illegal, his activities are.

He has no rights when it comes to this coz hes just a moaning old sod. If he doesnt stop filming & attacking people he will end up prosecuted.

Despite the above comment – In the UK there is no law to prohibit the filming of anyone on public ground – NONE – it is quite lawful to do so.

Wire traps – even on his own property this is illegal

No games in close – depends on the by laws in your area – some councils have enforced areas where games etc are not permitted – the local council can advise

Swearing at children – comes under abuse or behaviour likely to cause a breach of the police – police have powers of arrest but it has to be proven by a third party

Driving fast – again depends on speed limits in force – if he is not going over the speed limit, not a lot can be done and even if he is speeding it is down to proof again – only something the police can do. HOWEVER – pedestrians have right of way on a public carriageway.

Punching a mother – then I would beg the question – why has she not reported it and had him done for assault.

CRAZY DIAMOND: To whom are you refering – if it is to me than I suggest you check up on the law – what you refer to is not photography – you have been accused of assault in a private home – and it is her word against yours -

You are not that good either according to this question.

    The law and photography?
i took pics of 17 yr old model , she asked for topless pics , i took some with her parents permission they were in house , she then said i touched her to police , i never , what are my chances ?

Did jamand ask this question or was it ukmatey? maybe they are one and the same.

    1. No action can be taken on the cameras, they are no different than any other CCTV camera at a Bank or in a mall parking area.
2, There is a law here against any Human trap setting device that will physically hurt anyone and he can be charged for that, and if someone gets hurt from it even on his own property, he’s liable civilly.
    3. Seems the no games in close would be the Police decision to quell his whining.
    4. Swearing at children would be considered disorderly conduct or causing a public disturbance where I come from and I would charge him with that.
    5. Driving too fast on a crowded street – he could be charged with a multitude of things; Speeding, Driving too fast for conditions, Careless and Negligent driving, etc. etc.
    6. Punching the mom and throwing her down would be Assualt and Battery and he could get jail time for this.
