ADT Security Systems?

This is mainly for home owners in the UK! Does anyone roughly know the cost of an ADT alarm system for a four bedroom/two reception room detached house!?! Also does anyone have any experiences with ADT? Monitoring? Cost? How good they are? Cheers

    I am in SoCal, USA, but can tell you I have had them install and monitor my system for over 10 years. They are wonderful and have local monitoring so that if you need medical attention, have a fire or need the police they are dispatched within minutes (we’ve had them all). Out here they are offering a free alarm system with the purchase of a 2 year monitoring contract so ask about that. The system comes with 2 motion detectors, 10 window alarms, 4 door alarms and one key pad. I believe you have to pay $110 for installation if you do not already have the wiring for the system, however. It is totally worth it to get and pay for the additional key bobs and they are only like $30. My monitoring runs $55 a quarter.

    most alarm systems don’t work, b/c most ppl don’t actually turn them on
