They are wonderful and have local monitoring so that if you need medical attention, have a fire or need the police they are dispatched within minutes (we've had them all). Out here they are offering a free alarm system with the purchase of a 2 year monitoring contract so ask about that. The system comes with 2 motion detectors, 10 window alarms, 4 door alarms and one key pad. I believe you have to pay $110 for installation if you do not already have the wiring for the system, however. It is totally worth it to get and pay for the additional key bobs and they are only like $30. My monitoring runs $55 a quarter.
