Could you get in trouble for putting BRINKS home security signs around the house if you don’t have BRINKS?

I do not subscribe to Brinks but I found Brinks picket signs and stickers that say “This home is protected with Brinks home security.” If I put those out in front of the house, would I get in trouble?

Thank you and God bless!

My main reason to stick the BRINKS stickers is to scare off burglars but I guess free advertising too.

Go for it. I have done the same (tho not Brinks), anything to scare em off I reckon. Cant afford the real thing.Seems to be working, never been broken in to. #### to the ethical thing. You are giving Brinks free advertising, they wont mind.

Most likely not, but then there’s the ethical question…

    Good luck…

  3. Scourge 0' Fascism says:

No, they’d appreciate the free advertising, and it might be enough to deter breakins.

It’s fine. They send you the stickers. Even if you didn’t purchase their system, you are advertising for them on you house for free.

  5. Rez says:

No you couldn’t. Putting signs up is either to ward off potential burglars or add advertising to the BRINKS company. It’s not against the law – the sign and stickers are your own property.

Yes you could! Check your local and state ordinances.
