Good/Inexpensive Los Angeles Alarm Co.?

Hi! We just moved to the Los Angeles area and I was wondering if anyone had any recomendations for a Home Security/ Alarm company? In Dallas, where we used to live I went on the boards and asked this same question and someone recomended THE BEST Locally owned Alarm company. They were just a month with no contracts! I obviously know about the big ones, but I was hoping to strike gold again with perhaps a local one here that is cheaper and works. Thanks so much!

    I wish I knew! Tyco has been buying them all up and in my opinion has ruined them ALL! I cannot recommend ADT, sad to say…

    I know that many of the big company charge like 30 a month. 17 a month thats cheap. I dont have an alarm at my house because I live in 500k house and I dont have nothing of value only my tv and my computer.
    Iknow about ATD is cheap.

    And before you spend 3 hours each getting a quote from different companies, I would call around to get a ball park of what different systems cost. I’ve recently spent some time researching the cost of home security systems in the Atlanta area. Here’s a list of Atlanta home security system prices. I haven’t found such information covering the LA, but this is probably pretty representative.
