However, item #1 is Sony Vaio. You didn’t tell what the second one is. If it’s HP or Compaq, get a Sony Vaio, Asus or a Dell instead:

Remember, you are not just buying the specs but also the quality.
if you want lesser cost you can choose the no.1 because it has similar features with the second with higher cost.
hardware on #2 seems better, all else doesn’t mean anything. weight would be the other thing .
get number 2, it has a good dedicated graphics card, also slightly faster cpu and bigger screen for 100 more than number 1
Well option two , for processor reasons , better battery , more blu-ray drives , etc
