I suspect someone has used my social security number and I don’t know what to do…
I’ve tried contacting these collections companies but nothing has happened…

You have checked your credit and you have gotten bills.
You need to call the collection agencies and write down everything. Call the primary company that you have debt with and again….. write down everything.
I credit freeze would be great. But also the main thing is you need to file a police report and send it to the credit companies. That is the only way to protect yourself.
Contact your bank and the companies that sent these bills to the collection companies.
The first thing you should be doing is reviewing all of your credit reports. If anything is there that shouldn’t be, dispute it and place a "freeze" on your credit records.
