i need some ideas for an automated security system for home and office. so far we are implemented a finger print matcher and an automatic camera that starts recording whenever movement is sensed in the room and thereafter a call is placed to a cell phone to alarm the owner.
what are some more modules that we can add to the project.
asking you guys cause this section is really active, please reply with any wild or crazy ideas at all.
thanks
DUH! i guess this question was too nerdy
@sarah: the phone just rings one time when the recording starts. wont make such a blunder that the computer would keep calling the owner.
actually the net can be easily thrown but programming point of view, there is nothing much to do here.
no luck in the appropriate section as well. no reply at all x(
Every movement made the phone rings? o_O loool.
Add something that will trap them rofl like those net things that just BAM! drop on top of you loool. Ok sorry ahaha I have no idea about this stuff, it’s better you ask in a diff section.
EDIT: hmm oh ok that makes more sense lol. Isn’t that good enough though? Like you have a senser and a fingerprint thing + camera I don’t see what more you can add to that lol.
I don’t know how this would apply to Ramadan?? But, as a security set electronics are good for determining who is breaking in. Floor grids are easy to install. Robotic devices can really ramp up the dread factor for anyone who understands the lethal impersonal nature of computers. How about a sign that says "Self Response Armed Robot (SCAR) has the Lethal option on this Property". However, stick with the physical barriers to maintain a secure locality.
Note: nothing beats a big dog for making a place secure; not even armed guards can replace them. Good locks and real hard structures that don’t let just anyone in are best. Steel doors and solid concrete walls can stop all but the most determined intruders. I hope you don’t need these things. I would take a big dog over a door lock of any kind six days a week and twice on Sunday.
