I cant get Windows Security Center to turn on! Im using Iolo System Mechanic Pro 7 so I do have a firewall and Anti-Virus running. Also my user acct. controll is active, and windows defender is running! When I boot up, I get a balloon error message in the taskbar advising me security center is running and to click on the baloon to fix. I do so and security center opens with a button to click to turn it on, I do so and get another error message saying that security center cant be started but no explanation why? Whats up with that? Please help anyone? Drop me a fix at my inbox @ nziehme@yahoo.com

You could be infected with malware. It can disable your security Center. If you show no signs of infection. Does System Mechanic Pro have a registry Cleaner? If so and you ran it and then started having the problem after you restarted the computer. Mechanic may have delete something you need in the registry. See if Mechanic Pro has a restore option. Most registry cleaner do just in case something happens. You can also do a system restore to a point where your Security Center was working.
