Nope, it is even fairly common.

Nope I’m pretty sure it’s ok as long as its not filming random people on the street. In cities I see a lot of CCTV on private house

  3. Hugo says:

    Perfectly legal.

  4. Dillon says:

Nope, not illegal… as long as a camera is visible, it is never illegal to film (the only debate comes to when you are using it on tv or something that makes money or promotes something). And on your own property you can film what you want. Especially being fake cameras, it is just a good deterrent, put them anywhere you want.

Ok in the UK. You can legally buy fake cameras.

  6. Rararrar says:

Not at all – it’s a very common practise as a lot of people do not want to actually spend money on the purchase and upkeep of real CCTV.

Many stores use this as well.

    It’s 100% okay, as long as it’s your door…..

  8. the mofo says:

    Nope its completely legal.
Just like putting up beware the dog signs and fake alarm boxes.
Just keep the batteries updated or people will notice the red light going out, and BAM burglary
