   They are a real company based out of Phoenix, AZ. They have been around for about 4 years. http://www.sirenhomesecurity.com/

   They resell the wireless GE equipment and resell monitoring services provided by a company on the east coast. From what I was told, they are owned by a group in Phoenix, not by GE, they are just a GE reseller.
