Employers unconcerned about federal laws know that undocumented workers will work for less. Undocumented refers to individuals who are in the U.S. illegally or beyond the time limits of their visas. Since these workers do not have Social Security cards, they aren’t likely to complain if an employer fails to contribute its share to the Social Security Administration for them. They also don’t expect to receive retirement benefits, and they may be left off company rolls for health and life insurance benefits. They just want to stay under the radar, undetected by immigration officials who might deport them to their home country. In a recent case, Tyson Foods was accused of smuggling Mexican workers into some of its U.S. plants. Is the practice of hiring illegal immigrants compatible with responsible business leadership?
To often in this day and age ethics in business are defined by how it effects the bottom line. The answer is no it is not ethical because it is illegal. Therefore it is not responsible bsuiness leadership. Anyone who hires illegal workers ( yes I said illegal workers. Undocumented worker is a pc term which infers that these people have some right to be here in the first place. They don’t!) should be prosecuted to fullest extent of the law.
Absolutely not!
Of course not! There is no argument that could ever justify the hiring of illegal immigrants, especially while using the phrase "responsible business leadership".
if you contract illegal immigrants that only mean that you cannot afford/ or are not willing to pay a reasonable salary. I don’t see the relation with business leadership.
But managing illegal immigrant would be easy because they are more likely to follow than to complain
