Could he do this?
I live in a group home and the president of the group home company is my payee,,but the social security checks still get mailed to me and than he gets them and I get my 44 dollars for the month. Do you think he ‘s also going to take the 250 dollar check from me? He usually doesn’t care if it’s my 42.00 every 3 months cuz that’s small money but I have a feeling that he’s going to end up getting my check saying cause my social security isn’t enough and my home manager is not any help she says she out of it but I thought I overheard her on the phone yesterday asking mr taylor what he thought because the check isn’t supposed to go to him, they won’t promise to be trustworthy I think they’re conspiring behind my back to take it and they are saying if it is mine they’ll only give me a little at a time, well I need some clothes and some women clothes and I was gonna get a carton of cigarettes which I normally wouldn’t be able to afford and get my hair trimmed because I haven’t had it trimmed in several months because I can’t normally afford it.
Right now I want to cry because I have a feeling I won’t see any of that check, what should I do,, and they don’t allow us to check the mail without permission.

If there’s anyway possible…get outta there! They shouldn’t be taking your money from you like that. At the very least, you should know exactly why they need it, and exactly how much they’re taking. You should be the one to give it to them, not them giving you your money after they finish taking what they please.I can’t believe your not "allowed" to check the mail! ?
About your check….You need to find someone there that you can talk to, that you trust, and ask them to try to find out for you. Maybe a friend or family member could help.
    Good luck!
