Sounds like you have a lot going on and a lot to deal with. I am sorry your life is so chaotic. First, I guess it would be helpful to know who bought the dog in the first place. While you may not like your dad right now, if your parents bought the dog, you don't really have the right to give the dog to someone else. I know that stinks, but you cannot give away something that is not truly yours. I cannot begin to relate to your situation and I do not know enought about your family, but have you just tried talking to your dad? Maybe if you tell him that you have found a good home for the dog and explain why you think that is best, he might just understand. Explain to him that you are sad that you cannot have the dog anymore, ask your dad if he has a place where he is actually able to keep the dog. I think the best thing you can do in this situation, no matter how hard is just to talk about it.

give some time to think about what you think is best for your dog and your family. try not to stress or let panic cloud your judgment before you make a rash decision because no one will understand your predicament more than you.
