Why did the display and all the script on my PC get big enough for me to read it without glasses?

I didn’t do anything except buy worth of Norton Security System to " clean up my computer and make it run faster". It now takes 22 minutes from turn on to a home page and 16 minutes from loggimg in an already on computer! I can’t figure this new larger everything out. I have tried changing the font under settings. It does not have the desired effect.

Hold down your control button and use your scroll wheel on your mouse. Wonders!

Also, Norton takes up wayyyyy too much memory and slows your computer down because of Browser Helper Objects (BHO’s).

I’d ditch it like I did and get the free AVG anti virus from the site I listed below.

    norton is horrible.

probably what you are experiencing is that nortons is doing a complete system scan everytime you turn on your computer. in norton, turn this option off.

for making bigger fonts, you can do this through the graphics settings on your computer. you can choose larger fonts for your desktop.

in explorer 6.0, you can hold down ctrl and move the mouse scroll wheel to change the font size.

In explorer 7.0, go to view-> text size.

in extreme cases, i would recommend setting your graphics settings to 640 X 480.

another option is the start->all programs->accessories -> accessibility -> magnifier.
