I currently run a 2.4ghz WIFI network using this router:

I am thinking about purchasing and installing a product similar to:

Will I run into any interference issues? I am mainly wanting to purchase and install the security cameras at my home so I can easily see if someone I know is at the door or if there is someone parked in the driveway.

  1. Mercuri says:

Yes, they can interfere with each other. But they can also be set to use different channels so they won’t interfere (in theory).

  2. Doug says:

Yes it can if they are set to the same channel.

  3. Luke says:

Yes, they will interfere with each other and cause problems. You will probably experience connection issues.

  4. Liz says:

Here ya go: Now they don’t interfere with each other, but rather rely on each other..

besides, if you get one of these set up, and add a little dyndns action, you can watch your camera from the interwebs..
