Would you?
Which one is it?
Can you state pros and cons?

I am in Central NJ and need to get one but can’t choose.

Thanks!

    Mine is a Glock 19 (9mm) :)

I built my own from parts I bought separately. It’s battery-backed and motion-sensitive and auto-records to a 900 MB HD.

It’s got 360 degree coverage and I’m happy with it. I have motion sensors and a laser (1064…so it’s invisible) beam that has approximately 10,000 bounces throughout the house according to my calculation. If someone comes in while we’re not home….they will be recorded to an internet site. I have thought about auto-release canisters of cyanide, but am looking into the legal ramifications of that. If that’s no good I am going to use a 700 mJ/pulse 1064 laser with a 2D phase conjugate mirror to cycle thru a small circle such that you’d have to be 2 feet tall or 7 feet tall to prevent from being blinded.

God help anyone that breaks in. So….yeah…I’d recommend it.

Pros……it does *exactly* what I want/expect it to do, and it was cheap and no monthly fee bullsh!t. Did not have to sit and listen to some dumbass prattle on and on and on and on about how good ‘their’ system is and why I should thank God they are there for me and why I need to spend more than it’s worth to have it.

Cons…..it took more time to set up than to have someone else come and ‘install’ it for me.

Anyone breaking into someone else’s home should know this kind of thing is out there and is….waiting. People are done screwing around with dumbasses and their petty crap.

I have a large dog, security cameras, and a 7 mil…I have no fears.
Honestly what I know of any/all the security systems that my friends have is that they have problems with them going off multiple times a year and around here it costs money (fine) after the third call if false alarm. I think most big named ones are as good as the other.
